The Institute for Teaching Arabic to Non-Arabic Speakers organized a training workshop entitled "Creating Projects on Canva" on Tuesday, October 8, 2024. The workshop aims to enable students to use canva in assignments and projects.
World Breast Cancer Awareness Day
The Student and Sports Clubs Unit at the Institute, in cooperation with the Sports Club of the Faculty of Languages, organized an event on the occasion of the World Breast Cancer Awareness Day on Tuesday, October 8. The Research and Innovation Agency also organized an event within the institute to raise awareness of the disease.
Friends of Quality Initiative (Quality Behavior)
The Quality of Teaching and Learning Department at the Institute launched the second phase of the "Friends of Quality" initiative on Thursday, October 10, 2024. The event included welcoming quality friends and displaying their names on electronic screens at the institute as part of the activities of the academic year 1446.
Badminton competition
The Student and Sports Clubs Unit at the Institute organized a group competition in badminton on Thursday, October 10, 2024 between the students of the Institute and the students of the Faculty of Languages in the Female Club, and ended with the victory of the students of the Institute by 40 points.
The effectiveness of the customs of cultures and peoples
The Arabic Language Institute organized an event entitled "Customs of Cultures and Peoples" to showcase customs from countries such as China, Ghana, Uzbekistan and Thailand. These customs were displayed through electronic cards on the Institute's screens from Sunday, October 13, 2024 to Thursday, October 17, 2024.
Training workshop entitled How to analyze the results of the questionnaire
The Language Preparation Department organized a training workshop entitled "How to analyze the results of the questionnaire" for fifth-level students on Wednesday, October 16, 2024. The workshop aimed to help students use electronic questionnaires and analyze them for their assignments and projects.
Workshop on designing electronic questionnaires using Microsoft forms
The Research and Innovation Agency at the Institute organized a training workshop entitled "Electronic Questionnaire Design" for female students on Wednesday, October 16, 2024.
Introductory workshop for Jusoor program:
The Arabic Language Institute for Non-Native Speakers, represented by the Student Services Department, and the Student Life Agency at the Deanship of Student Affairs held an introductory workshop on the Jusoor program, to enhance the participation of international students in university activities, on Wednesday, October 16, 2024.
The second phase of the Friends of Quality initiative
The Quality of Teaching and Learning Department at the Institute organized a training workshop on Thursday, October 17, 2024 for the second phase of the "Friends of Quality" initiative. The workshop included a definition of the initiative and a discussion of the importance of quality at the Institute, in addition to the role and responsibilities of students in enhancing quality.
