Membership: Membership is of three types:Active membership:
It is required to:
A. The applicant for membership must have a degree not less than a bachelor's degree or its equivalent in the field of specialization.
B. To pay the annual subscriptions.
C. To meet any other conditions approved by the General Assembly.
D. To issue a decision accepting him from the Council.
Honorary membership:
Granted by a decision of the General Assembly to those who have contributed to developing the areas of interest of the scientific association, or have provided it with significant financial or moral contributions. The honorary member is exempted from the condition of paying the subscription, and he may attend the meetings of the General Assembly and its various committees and participate in discussions, without having the right to vote.
Affiliate membership:
Enjoyed by:
A. University students in the field of specialization of the scientific association.
B. Workers and those interested in the field of the scientific association who do not meet the academic qualification requirement specified for active membership.
The associate member is exempted from (50%) of the annual subscription fee, and he may attend the meetings of the General Assembly and its various committees and participate in discussions without having the right to vote.
In all cases, the condition for accepting membership is that the applicant has not been sentenced to a legal punishment, or to imprisonment for a crime that violates honor or trust, or imprisonment for a period exceeding one year, or a decision has been issued to dismiss him from work for disciplinary reasons, except after at least one year has passed from the date of completion of the implementation of the punishment, imprisonment or dismissal.
Termination of membership:
In the following cases:
1. Withdrawal or death of the member.
2. If the annual subscription is not paid after one year of its due date.
3. If he loses a condition of membership.
4. If he performs any work or activity that results in material or moral harm to the scientific association, and membership shall not be revoked in this case except with the approval of the Council.
5. If the member has been sentenced to a legal punishment or to imprisonment for a crime that violates honor or trust.
6. If he is dismissed from public service for disciplinary reasons.
Reinstatement of Membership:
The Council may, by decision, reinstate membership to a member who has lost it - based on his request - if the reasons for the previous cancellation of membership are no longer valid.
