Achievements

  • The Department of Scientific Societies organized an awards ceremony to honor outstanding founding committees. Al-Husna Society was recognized for completing its establishment during 1437–1438 AH.
  • The Society ranked first among the scientific societies at Princess Nourah bint Abdulrahman University for the 1441–1442 AH period.

Completed Projects and Achievements

  • Al-Husna Voice – Consultation Service: From 1438 to 1442 AH, the project provided free Sharia consultations by qualified faculty members, serving women locally and internationally. A total of 690 consultations were provided.
  • Translation Project: The project aimed to translate books and audiovisual materials from Arabic into several foreign languages to facilitate access to and understanding of Islam among non-Arabic speakers. Al-Aqidah Al-Muyassarah was translated into 13 languages, along with introductory videos on ablution, prayer, and fasting into several languages.
  • Al-Jawhara Al-Za'irah and Ra'idah Projects: Educational, training, Da'wah-oriented, academic, and skills-development initiatives targeting scholarship students at Princess Nourah bint Abdulrahman University. A total of 190 beneficiaries were served.
  • Ma' Al-Maharah Project: An initiative aimed at enabling participants to memorize the Qur'an accurately and proficiently. Online Qur'an courses were offered to 700 students within the Kingdom and beyond.
  • Interdisciplinary Studies and Research: Aimed at supporting and advancing scholarly research and promoting interdisciplinary studies and publications. The Society participated with research papers in 9 conferences.
  • Seminars and Forums: Aimed at organizing academic seminars and forums and hosting specialists to enrich scholarly content and contribute to addressing societal issues. The Society organized 4 seminars and 15 forums.
  • Community Partnerships: Aimed at strengthening partnerships with governmental and nonprofit institutions, securing support for the Society's projects, and facilitating the provision of educational and awareness services to their personnel. The Society established 19 partnerships.
  • Ehtiwa Project: Focused on providing support, care, and values-based guidance to girls and women facing social or family circumstances through social care institutions. The project served 180 beneficiaries.
  • Sina'at Al-Mahawir Program: An academic program focused on developing and establishing sound foundations in Islamic creed and knowledge. It served 50 beneficiaries.
  • Umrah Trips: The Society organized 8 Umrah trips for more than 400 beneficiaries.
  • Celebrations: The Society organized 11 celebrations for various occasions.
  • Publications: The Society published 24 books and 5 informational brochures.
  • International and National Days: The Society organized 11 events marking Saudi National Day, Founding Day, and various international days.
  • Initiatives: These included designing and installing a wall mural opposite the Society's headquarters to introduce the Society and its activities, as well as providing water coolers and purification filters for scholarship students residing in university housing.
  • Summer Centers: The Society participated in the humanitarian track of the University's summer center through various courses and activities and achieved first place.

Current and Future Programs

  • Academic Lectures and Classes: The Society has delivered more than 200 academic lectures and classes, with these activities continuing.
  • Society Information Exhibitions: Aimed at introducing the Society and promoting its publications. The Society has held 15 exhibitions and remains prepared to participate in future events.
  • Event Sponsorships: The Society has contributed to sponsoring 4 events, with this activity ongoing.
  • Qur'anic Programs: These include the Aqri'ni Project, which aims to improve Qur'an recitation among the University's academic and administrative staff, and a program for teaching the Al-Qaida Al-Noorania in Japan, in cooperation with the Islamic Endowment Society in Japan, aimed at improving Qur'an recitation and enabling participants to memorize Juz' Amma remotely.
  • Training Courses: Aimed at enhancing researchers' research capabilities and developing their advanced skills. The Society has delivered 108 training courses, with the program continuing.
  • Competitions: The Society has organized several competitions, benefiting 118 participants, with the program continuing.
