The Biodiversity Research Journal welcomes the submission of original and specialized scientific research related to various fields of biology. The journal accepts extracts and scientific articles according to the following rules and conditions:
General Guidelines:
The journal publishes original academic research that adheres to scientific research ethics. Manuscripts can be in Arabic or English and should not have been published previously. Upon acceptance, the manuscript should not be published elsewhere without written permission from the Editor-in-Chief.
• Priority is given to original research to maintain the journal's continuity and success.
• Manuscripts must be sent in their final corrected version to the journal's email.
• All correspondence should be addressed to the Editor-in-Chief.
Manuscript Requirements:
• The research must be original and methodologically sound.
• It should adhere to standards of scientific integrity and research ethics.
• The language should be accurate, with proper punctuation.
• The manuscript must not have been previously published.
• Manuscripts submitted will not be returned, whether published or not.
• The manuscript, including references, footnotes, and tables, should not exceed 30 A4 pages, including abstracts in both Arabic and English.
• The journal reserves the right to publish the manuscript on its website or any other print or electronic media affiliated to the university after approval for publication.
• Email submissions imply acceptance of the journal's publication terms. The Editorial Board reserves the right to set publication priorities.
• Each issue of the journal must include the following disclaimer: “The opinions expressed in this issue are those of the authors and do not necessarily reflect the views of the Editorial Board, Princess Nourah bint Abdulrahman University, or the Ministry of Education of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia."
Formatting Guidelines:
• Margins should be set to 3 cm (top, bottom, right, and left), and line spacing should be single.
• Arabic text should use the font “Traditional Arabic" with sizes: 16 normal for the main text, 18 bold for headings, 13 normal for footnotes and abstracts, and 10 normal for tables and figures, with bold for table headings and captions.
•English text should use the font “Times New Roman" with sizes: 11 normal for the main text, bold for headings, 9 normal for footnotes and abstracts, and 8 normal for tables and figures, with bold for table headings and captions.
