Main Tasks

  • Develop and update the current (As-Is) and future (To-Be) architecture based on the strategic vision and requirements from various stakeholders in the government entity.
  • Manage the enterprise architecture tool, which contains all architecture data and the resulting outputs and reports.
  • Develop a transformation roadmap based on the gap analysis between the current and future architecture. The roadmap describes the required initiatives to reach the future state, sets priorities, timelines, and required resources.
  • Assist decision-makers in providing a clear and comprehensive descriptive view of the university from different perspectives; this helps in evaluating the efficiency of operations (such as services, procedures, systems, infrastructure, and resources) and taking the necessary actions accordingly.
  • Ensure the implementation of the future architecture according to the specified principles, policies, and standards of the enterprise architecture to enhance the institutional capabilities and ensure the achievement of the strategic vision.
  • Assist in the implementation of projects and provide solutions and recommendations by providing integrated information and evaluating all architectures; this helps in analyzing their impact, risks, compliance, and benefits.
  • Review digital projects and initiatives to prevent duplication, ensure technical requirements, and align them with enterprise architecture standards and principles. In addition, to promote the optimal use of resources through collaboration and reuse to improve spending efficiency.
  • Promote the enterprise architecture culture in the university through regular communication, awareness, and training.​
