Overview:

The Deanship of Scientific Research and Libraries at Princess Nourah bint Abdulrahman University is launching the initiative to support scientific publishing in top-impact journals. This initiative reflects the university's belief in the outstanding research capabilities of its faculty members, researchers, and students. The aim is to provide financial support to elevate the quality of scientific research across both theoretical and applied fields. In addition, the initiative seeks to create an ideal research environment that supports the work of researchers in their areas of interest and specialization, while offering all available material and technical resources to facilitate their research endeavors.

The program aims to:

1. Encourage researchers to align their work with the university's research system and identity, by streamlining research funding procedures and enhancing the overall effectiveness of research activities.
2. Promote scientific publication in top-impact, indexed journals. The goal is to publish papers in journals listed in the Web of Science (WOS) Core Collection, with an impact factor as reported in the Journal Citation Report (Clarivate Analytics). These journals should rank in the top 10% of their respective disciplines (scientific, engineering, medical, social, and humanities) with an Impact Factor (JIF) ranging from 90-100%. Research outputs should also support the objectives of Saudi Arabia's Vision 2030, enhancing the research capacity of faculty members across all university disciplines.
3. Enhance the university's global ranking by improving the visibility and quality of its research.
4. Support the university's pursuit of academic accreditation, both at the institutional and program levels.
