Overview​​

The Deanship of Quality Assurance and Academic Accreditation was first founded in 2012 by Royal Decree No. (17/58/1431). It was established as a quality ecosystem that guides and leads the University to obtain the academic and institutional accreditations.
Functional Affiliation of The Deanship of Quality Assurance and Academic Accreditation:
It is affiliated with the University Vice President for Educational Affairs.

Objectives:
1. Promoting the University's academic programs and ensuring the quality of their structure and design.
2. Strengthening quality practices and applications among University employees. 
3. Adopting the concept of result-based development to obtain institutional excellence.

Tasks:
1. Preparing strategic and operational plans for the Deanship of Quality Assurance and Academic Accreditation, and following up on their implementation.
2. Developing a plan for institutional and program accreditation at the University level.
3. Providing advice, and offering support and training to all sectors of the University to achieve the quality requirements and local and international academic accreditation. 
4​. Preparing key institutional reports in line with the University's strategic resolutions regarding learning outcomes, questionnaires and performance indicators related to the quality of educational programs and institutional performance.

Quality Policies

The Deanship of Quality Assurance and Academic Accreditation implements quality and academic accreditation standards in all University units to support the University’s mission towards achieving its strategic plans and reaching the ranks of international universities, and to achieve this, the Deanship follows these policies:


  1. Constant improvement and development of quality applications in all University units.

  2. Establishing the culture of quality and concepts of strategic planning.

  3. Implementing evaluation, assessment and academic accreditation standards.

  4. Adopting the application of the different quality systems at the University.

  5. Achieving customer needs and constantly seeking to exceed their expectations.

  6. Committing to the credibility of performance to reach the highest accreditation levels.

  7. Setting measurable goals that are aligned with the vision of the Deanship.

  8. Improving employees’ knowledge, abilities, and performance and equip them with the necessary training and development at all levels.
