Description“PNU Innovates" is a digital initiative designed to foster a culture of institutional innovation at Princess Nourah bint Abdulrahman University. The platform receives and presents real-world challenges submitted by individuals and entities within the University. These challenges are reviewed and screened by specialized committees before being published as open challenges for the wider community to participate in developing creative solutions.
ObjectiveTo create an interactive innovation environment that enables the University community to participate in solving problems through innovative approaches and fosters collaboration among colleges and administrative units by leveraging design thinking and open innovation.
Challenge SubmissionA dedicated page allows members of the University community—including students, faculty members, administrative units, and centers—to submit challenges they encounter. Challenge submitters describe the problem, its impact, and the target group, after which the challenge is reviewed by the relevant committee.
Access the ServiceOpen ChallengesAn interactive page showcasing all ongoing challenges that have been approved following review. Innovators from both within and outside the University can browse these challenges and submit their innovative proposals for addressing them.
