About the Department
The Intellectual Property Department is responsible for managing the University's intellectual property assets. It supports innovators, researchers, and inventors by providing services and managing procedures related to various forms of intellectual property. This contributes to fostering innovation, enabling technology transfer, and transforming research and knowledge outputs into sustainable economic and societal value.
Our Services
Receiving, screening, reviewing, and evaluating intellectual property applications of various types.
Managing the procedures for registering and protecting intellectual property rights with relevant authorities locally and internationally.
Organizing and delivering specialized training programs, workshops, and awareness-raising events in various areas of intellectual property.
Representing the University locally and internationally before relevant intellectual property authorities and entities.
Managing programs and initiatives that incentivize innovators and inventors, including the Patent Incentive Program.
Providing intellectual property consultations, as well as technical and legal support.
Establishing partnerships and fostering collaboration with relevant entities to support the University's intellectual property ecosystem.
General Requirements for Applying for Protection or Registration
The applicant must be a member of the University community. Applications involving individuals from outside the University may be accepted provided that at least one of the contributors to the promising innovative idea is a member of the University community.
Requirements for Disclosure of a Promising Innovative Idea
Disclosure of a promising innovative idea is subject to screening and evaluation in accordance with the following general requirements:

About the Lab
PNU CODE Lab aims to foster innovation and entrepreneurship by creating an integrated environment that supports the incubation of digital entrepreneurial ideas and projects and contributes to the establishment of startups. The Lab also provides technological enablers and creative solutions through a range of specialized services and programs, with the participation and support of technical experts and entrepreneurs.

Utilizing the capabilities and equipment of partner laboratories.
