Key Responsibilities •

Management and Analysis:

Develop and implement safety and risk management policies and procedures in compliance with national and local standards and regulations.
Assess potential hazards and threats across various aspects of University operations, including the campus environment, laboratories, health, and operational safety.
Develop emergency plans to address potential disasters and emergency incidents.

Development:

Provide training and awareness programs for members of the University community on safety matters, safe practices, and preventive measures.

Legal Compliance:

Ensure full compliance with laws and regulations related to safety and occupational safety.

Regulatory Compliance:

Cooperate with local and national authorities and other official entities to ensure compliance with applicable standards and regulations

Ensuring Safety:

Respond effectively to emergencies and disasters and coordinate with relevant entities to ensure efficient crisis management.
Document and analyze incidents and other safety-related matters and provide recommendations for improvement.
Conduct regular inspections and oversight of University equipment and facilities to ensure their safety and proper maintenance.
Document and analyze various safety-related incidents and issues and provide recommendations for improvement.
