Key Responsibilities

Planning and Managing:

  • Analyzing and evaluating potential risks and threats in various aspects of university life, including the university environment, laboratories, health, and operational safety.​
  • Developing emergency plans to deal with potential disasters and emergency incidents.​
  • Dealing with emergencies and disasters effectively and coordinating with various entities to manage crises efficiently.​

Improving:

  • Raising awareness and providing training to university community members on safety issues, safe behavior, and preventive measures.​​​
  • providing recommendations for improvement for incidents and various safety-related matters that have been documented​

Ensuring Safety:

  • Developing and implementing safe policies, procedures, and risk management practices according to national and local standards and regulations.​
  • Conducting regular inspections and monitoring of university equipment and facilities to ensure their safety and maintenance.​
  •  Promoting a safety culture and raising awareness of its importance among students, staff, and university personnel.​

Compliance with the Law:

  • Ensuring full compliance with laws and regulations related to safety and occupational health.

Compliance with Regulations:

  • Collaborating with local, national, and other official authorities to comply with national standards and regulations.​
