The session also includes coverage of strategies to promote an effective learning environment for students. The trainees are introduced to the most important principles and strategies of cooperative learning and an effective learning environment. The session includes reflections on members' practices in collaborative learning, in promoting an effective learning environment, and in aligning those practices with the UKPSF's Professional Standards Framework. The 5th training session of the accredited academic excellence program revolves around classifications, principles and elements of assessment. The session also covers how to apply constructive alignment by aligning learning and assessment activities with learning outcomes. The trainees are familiarized with the most important principles and strategies of formative and summative assessment. The session included reflections on members' assessment practices and their alignment with the UKPSF Professional Standards Framework. The session also included developing plans for the design and implementation of assessment for learning.
