Course equivalency requests are only for first-level students as follows:

  1. A student must submit the course equivalency request for the entire academic study plan at once, and this must be done only at the beginning of the first level.
  2. A student must submit the course equivalency request via the designated equivalency link available on the college's official website, within the announced timeframe, and must use her PNU email to log in.
  3. The student must upload the required documents via the course equivalency link, which includes the following:
  • The official course equivalency request form, filled in and signed by the student.
  • An official and certified copy of the academic transcript, attested by the institution from which the student is transferring or has graduated.
  • A PDF certified copy of the course description.
  • In the case of requesting equivalency for multiple courses, all courses must be listed in a single form. However, a separate request must be submitted via the link for each course, with the same form attached each time. For English language courses equivalency request, they should be listed in the form separately from other courses.

 

Course Equivalency Requirements

1. Course equivalency is only accepted from universities and colleges recognized by the Ministry of Education (MOE).

2. The student must have earned a grade of "B" (Very Good) or higher in the equivalent course.

3.The equivalent course must have credit hours equal to or greater than those of the required course. If the credit hours are less than the required course, the equivalency will not be granted.

4.The content of the passed course must have a minimum similarity of 75% with the content of the course to be equated in the academic study plan.

5. Officially attested international licenses and certificates, approved by the Technical and Vocational Training Corporation (TVTC), may be equated with specialized diploma courses, provided that the student has obtained a minimum score of 5 on the IELTS test.

 ​6.   A course in which a student received a grade of Good “C" or lower will not be accepted for equivalency.

7. No more than 25% of the total credit hours of the program may be equated.

 

Note

  • The submission of a course equivalency request does not constitute approval of the equivalency.
  • The student is required to attend all classes of the course in question until the equivalency approval appears in the academic system.
  • Equivalency requests will be automatically rejected in the following cases:
  • If the required documents are incomplete,
  • If the documents are not officially attested by the responsible authority,
  • If the request is submitted after the designated application period.

The student bears full responsibility for ensuring the accuracy and completeness of all submitted information and documents.
