Applied College and the National eLearning Center Sign Cooperation Agreement to Implement the Short University Programs Initiative

The Applied College at Princess Nourah bint Abdulrahman University and the National eLearning Center signed a cooperation agreement on Thursday, January 30, 2025, to implement the Short University Programs Initiative—one of the Human Capability Development Program initiatives. The cooperation includes launching short university programs over four years in partnership with governmental and private sectors, targeting prospective graduates, employees, and job seekers in Saudi Arabia. The initiative aims to provide emerging skills needed in the labor market, increase graduate employment rates, enhance career paths, align competencies with market requirements, and promote lifelong learning. The agreement was signed by Dr. Rana Al-Aqeeli, CEO of the Applied College, and Dr. Hajar Bin Asfour, Deputy Director-General for Enablement at the National eLearning Center. This agreement supports mutual goals of knowledge exchange, fostering collaboration, building human capital, contributing to sustainable development, and enhancing growth in the knowledge economy aligned with Saudi Vision 2030.
