The Applied College at Princess Nourah bint Abdulrahman University received European accreditation for its “Tourism and Travel Management” program from the European Association of Hotels and Tourism Schools (EURHODIP) on Tuesday, November 10, 2024. This achievement crowns the efforts of the Tourism and Hospitality programs in meeting all quality and competitiveness standards for their outcomes at both local and international levels. The accreditation was granted following a series of reviews, meetings, and site visits to the university, during which the program’s details were examined, and meetings were held with the college leadership, faculty members, and students. It is worth noting that the EURHODIP accreditation is a tool for measuring educational quality in tourism and hospitality programs under the European Association of Hotels and Tourism Schools, which was established in 1988 to evaluate and enhance educational quality in tourism and hospitality across academies, colleges, and institutions offering such programs.
