Membership Registration in the Saudi Scientific Association for Psychological Counseling: Terms and Procedures
Active Membership:
Available to individuals with a university degree in the association’s field of specialization and those working in the fields of education and psychology, with an annual membership fee of 200 SAR.
Benefits of Active Membership:
1-The right to attend the association’s meetings
2-Opportunities for collaborative research among members.
3-Voting rights on decisions and the election of the Board of Directors. .
4-Eligibility to run for the Board of Directors.
5-Access to an annual report on the association’s activities and directions.
Honorary Membership:
-Granted by the general assembly to individuals who have contributed significantly to the association’s areas of interest or provided substantial financial or moral support
-Honorary members are exempt from the membership fee and may attend general assembly meetings and participate in various committees and discussions. However, they do not have voting rights.
Affiliate Membership:
Open to all interested individuals, including parents, university students, and those who do not meet the academic qualifications required for active membership. The membership fee is 100 SAR.
Eligibility for Affiliate Membership:
University students specializing in the association’s field
Professionals and enthusiasts in the association’s field who lack the academic qualifications for active membership.
Benefits of Affiliate Membership:
- A 50% discount on all association-related courses and workshops.
- A membership card providing access to various membership discounts.
- Access to all association publications, including booklets and scientific journals.
Note: Affiliate members are exempt from 50% of the annual subscription fee and can attend general assembly meetings and committees.
They may participate in discussions but do not have voting rights.
