In accordance with Article 39 of the Basic Law of Governance and the Press and Publications Law, including their amendments and implementing regulations, all publications must comply with the following requirements:

1. Comply with Islamic Sharia, applicable laws and regulations, and the Kingdom's policies, plans, and initiatives.
2. Do not promote discord or division, undermine national security or public order, harm the Kingdom's relations, or serve foreign interests that conflict with national interests.
3. Respect human dignity and rights and refrain from inciting social tensions or containing defamatory or offensive content.

Research Guidelines

1. Scope and Originality: Submitted research must fall within the journal's areas of interest—library science, information technology, and documentation—and make an original contribution to knowledge. Research must follow internationally recognized standards of sound scientific methodology and demonstrate objectivity and impartiality in its presentation.
2. Originality and Exclusivity: The journal accepts original research papers written in Arabic or English that have not been previously published or submitted for publication elsewhere.
3. Length and Formatting: Research papers must not exceed 40 A4 pages, including the Arabic and English abstracts and references. Manuscripts must be properly formatted and linguistically edited.
4. Research Information: The following information must be provided in both Arabic and English: research title, author's name, general and specific area of specialization, and contact information.
5. Abstract: Each abstract must not exceed 250 words and should clearly state the research topic, objectives, methodology, key findings, and recommendations. Abstracts must be thoroughly edited.
6. Keywords: Each Arabic and English abstract must be followed by keywords that accurately reflect the research topic and the main issues addressed. The number of keywords must not exceed six.
7. Page Layout: Page margins must be set to 3 cm on all sides, with single line spacing.
8. Arabic Font: Arabic text must be written in Traditional Arabic, using 16-point font for the main text and headings, 13-point font for footnotes and abstracts, and 10-point font for tables and figures. Table headings and captions should be in bold.
9. English Font: English text must be written in Times New Roman, using 11-point font for the main text and headings, 9-point font for footnotes and abstracts, and 8-point font for tables and figures. Table headings and captions should be in bold.

Research Structure

Authors should structure their manuscripts in accordance with established scientific research methodology, as follows:

1. Introduction: Including the research topic, problem, scope, objectives, methodology, procedures, and research structure.
2. Previous Studies: A review of relevant previous studies, where applicable, together with the author's scholarly contribution.
3. Research Sections: The research should be coherently divided into sections in accordance with the research structure.
4. Content Organization: Each section should address a clearly defined idea that contributes to the central theme of the research.
5. Academic Writing: The research should be written in clear, rigorous academic language, free from linguistic and grammatical errors, with accurate and consistent documentation.
6. Conclusion: Presenting the main findings and recommendations.

Research Documentation

1. Footnotes and References: Footnotes should include the title of the source, author's name, and volume and page number, in accordance with the applicable scholarly documentation style.

References at the end of the research should be documented as follows:

• Book: Title of the book. Author's last name, first name and other names. Editor/reviewer, if applicable. Edition. City of publication: Publisher, year of publication.
• Unpublished thesis or dissertation: Title of the thesis/dissertation. Author's last name, first name and other names. Degree (Master's thesis/PhD dissertation). Country, College, University, year.
• Journal article: Title of the article. Author's last name, first name and other names. Journal title, volume number, issue number, year of publication, page range.

2.  Bibliographic Abbreviations: Where the relevant information is unavailable, the following abbreviations should be used:

• N.P. — No place of publication
• N.P. — No publisher
• N.E. — No edition
• N.D. — No date
