Research Facilitation Unit :
The Research Facilitation Unit at Princess Nourah bint Abdulrahman University supports faculty, researchers, students, and administrative staff in conducting research and obtaining scientific and statistical data from within or outside the university. The unit also assists external researchers seeking to conduct studies or access data from the university.
Procedure for Requesting Research Facilitation:
1. Send an official letter from the dean of the relevant college addressed to the Dean of Scientific Research and Libraries, including information about the researcher and the research title.
2. Attach the approval from the Research Ethics Committee at Princess Nourah bint Abdulrahman University, which can be obtained by contacting irb@pnu.edu.sa.
3. Specify the target research sample (e.g., students, faculty members, staff, etc.).
4. Identify the entity for which the facilitation is requested (e.g., college, institute, deanship, etc.).
5. Attach a stamped copy of the research instrument (e.g., questionnaire or interview questions).
6. Attach the research proposal (research plan).
7. Provide the full link to the questionnaire without shortening it.
8. If there is an online link to the questionnaire, please include the following information in the introduction within the link: full name, email address, and academic degree.
9. Do not distribute the questionnaire by the researcher until approval is granted by the Deanship of Scientific Research and Libraries.
10. Complete the updated acknowledgment form containing the researcher's data and sign it.
11. Fill out a commitment declaration for publishing a scientific paper and sign it.
