Research Facilitation Unit:

The Research Facilitation Unit streamlines research procedures for University affiliates, including faculty members, researchers, students, and administrative staff. It assists them in conducting scientific research and obtaining research-related data, statistics, and documents from institutions within and outside the University. The Unit also receives and reviews applications from external researchers seeking to conduct field research at the University, in accordance with applicable regulations and requirements.
Application Requirements and Procedures
1. University Affiliates — Research at Institutions Within Saudi Arabia
Complete the University’s official Research Facilitation Request Form.
Combine all supporting documents and research instruments into a single PDF file.
Attach official approval from the University’s Institutional Review Board (IRB).
2. University Affiliates — Research at Institutions Outside Saudi Arabia
Submit a letter addressed to the relevant institution, issued by the Dean of Scientific Research and Libraries through the Ministry of Education’s A’mali platform. The application must include:
The completed Research Facilitation Request Form.
A single PDF file containing all research instruments and supporting documents.
Approval from the University’s Institutional Review Board (IRB).
3. Researchers from Other Saudi Universities — Research at PNU
An official letter from the dean of the researcher’s college, addressed to the Dean of Scientific Research and Libraries, including the researcher’s details, research title, and a detailed timeline.
The completed official Research Facilitation Request Form.
All research instruments combined into a single PDF file.
Approval from Princess Nourah bint Abdulrahman University’s Institutional Review Board (IRB).
4. Researchers from International Institutions — Research at PNU
Submit an application in accordance with the applicable laws and regulations of Saudi Arabia, along with a research timeline and supporting documents.
Complete the University’s official Research Facilitation Request Form.
Combine all research instruments into a single PDF file.
Attach approval from Princess Nourah bint Abdulrahman University’s Institutional Review Board (IRB).
