University Agency Overview

Sarah Al-Sudairy Center for Women's Studies was established on 22/12/2022 in Princess Nourah bint AbdulRahman University to support Saudi women's development in accordance with the Kingdom's Vision 2030. The center aims to highlight the role of women locally and globally, shed light on their past and recent achievements, and support their progress in various fields. The center includes a research and studies unit to support scientific research in the field of women's studies, an archive that documents the history of Saudi women and their development journey, as well as a specialized digital library for scientific and research production related to women's studies. The center collaborates with several government sectors to enhance interaction with Saudi women's issues in all fields. The center’s mission is to serve as a think tank, providing reliable information about women and establishing credibility on both local and global scales.

Main Tasks

  • Conducting relevant scientific studies and research and linking them to the reality of women in the Kingdom to contribute to decision-making and to continue and expand partnerships with community institutions.

  • Highlighting the civilizational role and status of women by documenting the history of Saudi women and the national efforts made.

  • Training and developing human resources interested in women's studies.

  • Building partnerships with relevant local, regional, and international governmental and private entities.
