College of Humanities and Social Sciences Organizes a Series of Workshops to Enhance the Quality of Scientific Research

The Research, Innovation, and Entrepreneurship Unit at the College of Humanities and Social Sciences at Princess Nourah bint Abdulrahman University organized a series of specialized workshops during April 2025 under the “Researcher’s Voice” project, titled “Keys to Research Excellence for the Competent Researcher.” The workshops were delivered by a group of specialized faculty members and aimed at developing researchers’ skills, raising awareness of scientific research concepts, and highlighting elements of excellence in research projects. The workshops included “Innovation in Research Titles According to Research Priorities,” “Reviewers’ Observations and Commendations in Academic Theses,” “Supervision, Discussion, and Review Skills,” and “Research Team Management and Success Factors.” Additional workshops addressed “Research Proposal Writing and Thesis Preparation Skills,” “Common Errors in Scientific Writing,” “Technology and Scientific Research,” which highlighted digital tools supporting Arab researchers, and “Ethics of Using Artificial Intelligence in Scientific Research,” which discussed ethical challenges and principles related to AI use in academic research. The workshops contribute to achieving the University’s Strategic Plan 2025 by enhancing research quality, strengthening researchers’ skills, and linking research outputs to societal needs.
