Career opportunities

- Supervisors of hotels' room operations, for example: Reception, Reservation, Information, Housekeeping, Guest Relations and Business Center. - Supervisors of food and beverage services in hotels and other hospitality institutions, which are provided, but not limited to, in the following sales outlets: different types of Restaurants, Banquets, Conference Halls, Room service and Coffee Shops. - Human resources specialists and supervisors in hotels and various hospitality institutions. - Marketing and sales coordinators and supervisors in hotels and various hospitality institutions.

Nature and Goals of the Program

The Hospitality Management Program aims to: - Prepare academically and professionally qualified graduates in the Hospitality Management field who can compete in the labor market. - Build the graduates' capabilities to deal with various variables, developments and situations in the Hospitality and Hotel Industry field. - Build strategic partnerships with government and private institutions in the Hospitality Management field to develop field training. - Propose activities and initiatives that contribute to community service and its development. - Prepare students for the professional certification exam (Certified Hospitality Supervisor) by studying the following courses: • Introduction to the Tourism and Hospitality Industry • Human Resources Management in Hospitality Industry • Cross-Cultural Communications.

1. To prepare scientifically and professionally qualified graduates in hospitality management to compete in the labor market.
2.10To build the capabilities of female graduates to deal with various variables, developments, and attitudes in the field of hospitality and hotels.
3.To build strategic partnerships with government and private institutions in hospitality management to develop field training.
4. To propose activities and initiatives that contribute to community service and development.
5. To prepare female students for the Certified Hospitality Supervisor (CHS) exam through their study of the following courses: Introduction to Tourism and Hospitality Industry, Human Resources Management in Hospitality Industry, and Cross-Cultural Commun

Knowledge and Understanding:
1-To demonstrate the general conceptual knowledge and theories related to all key areas in the hospitality industry.
2- To explain the responsibilities, activities, and functions of departments in hospitality establishments
3- To identify key management competencies and skills relevant to managing in hospitality organizations.
Skills:
1- To appraise the structure, nature, and operating characteristics of the different departments in hospitality establishments
2-To develop opportunities for creating a high degree of customer satisfaction by anticipating customer needs and providing hospitality services in a professional manner
3: To analyze issues, challenges, and trends that face the hospitality industry.
Values, Autonomy, and Responsibility:
1- To communicate effectively with both specialist and non-specialist audiences in a multi- cultural environment.
2- To practice self-learning and make use of feedback.

1-To understand the basic knowledge in the tourism and hospitality industry (hotels).
2-Professionalism: Adherence to workplace standards and ethical guidelines.
3-To gain the administrative and technical skills related to the hospitality field.
