The Applied College is one of the key colleges within Saudi universities. It builds upon the foundations of the Community College and the Deanship of Community Service and Continuing Education. In its renewed form, the College emerged as one of the initiatives of the Human Capability Development Program, one of the programs launched under Saudi Vision 2030.
Accordingly, the College's objectives and strategic directions focus on offering flexible programs aligned with the evolving needs of the labor market, as well as establishing effective partnerships with the public, private, and nonprofit sectors. These efforts support the Applied College's role in community development and meeting community needs.
The College also works to enhance the skills and capabilities of individuals enrolled in diploma programs and training courses, improve their professional competencies, and support nationalization initiatives across various fields in line with regional needs.
These objectives and strategic directions are fully aligned with the strategic goals and priorities of Princess Nourah bint Abdulrahman University. The College seeks to introduce forward-looking applied academic programs that meet internationally recognized quality standards, with the aim of developing competitive professionals who contribute to the national economy and take a leading role in the country's development journey.
In this regard, the Applied College takes pride in its strong relationships with the public and private sectors, established through numerous memoranda of understanding and cooperation agreements at both the local and international levels. These partnerships contribute significantly to achieving the College's objectives.
