The Applied College at Princess Nourah bint Abdulrahman University, in collaboration with Savvy Games Group, launched the “Game Art Design Lab” on Wednesday, April 29, 2026, at the college premises. The lab aims to equip female students with future-oriented skills in the field of gaming and esports. The lab serves as a specialized educational space for game art design, featuring advanced devices and display screens that contribute to providing a stimulating learning environment for applied education and enhancing project-based academic activities. As part of the launch activities, the college organized a session on game design, covering several specialized topics, including professional experiences in the gaming industry and pathways to entering the sector, key global trends in gaming and esports, and the future of the gaming industry in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in light of Vision 2030. The launch of the lab represents a significant step toward supporting the local gaming industry, while also providing new career pathways for female students in this growing sector.
