Enriching the Educational Experience: Applied College Organizes a Series of Training Activities

The Applied College at Princess Nourah bint Abdulrahman University organized a series of training activities during the past month of April, aimed at empowering talents and building the cognitive and practical capacities of university faculty and staff, female students, and individuals interested in the field. This comes as part of the college’s efforts to develop skills and provide participants with valuable expertise.
The activities included a package of training courses, most notably a course titled “Practical Use of Artificial Intelligence Tools in the Workplace,” which aimed to enable beneficiaries to utilize artificial intelligence tools to enhance productivity and improve the quality of outputs. The college also offered a training course on “Data Analysis Using Excel,” designed to improve work efficiency and automate tasks, while contributing to the development of Excel skills for data analysis and report building.
In a related context, the college held a training course titled “The Art of Saudi Cooking,” which highlighted the concept of Saudi cuisine, methods of preparing dishes, and presentation techniques. The course aimed to provide participants with culinary skills and introduce them to the fundamentals of traditional Saudi cooking.
The college also conducted a series of training workshops, including a workshop on “Creating a Professional CV Using Office Programs,” a workshop titled “The Art of Etiquette,” and a “Dessert Decoration” workshop, all aimed at developing artistic and creative skills.
This initiative reflects the Applied College’s commitment to contributing to the achievement of Princess Nourah bint Abdulrahman University’s strategic goals, which aim to enhance skills and knowledge, enrich the educational experience, and promote excellence in teaching and learning.
