Honorary Membership

No fee

• Granted by resolution of the General Assembly to individuals who have contributed to the development of the Society’s areas of scientific interest or provided significant financial or other support.
• Honorary members are exempt from membership fees and may attend meetings of the General Assembly and its various committees and participate in discussions, but do not have voting rights.

Active Membership

SAR 200

- Holds a bachelor’s degree or higher in a dental specialty and is engaged in teaching in the field of dentistry.
- May attend meetings of the General Assembly and its various committees and participate in discussions.
- Only active members have the right to vote in elections.
- May run for election to the Board of Directors.

Associate Membership

SAR 100

- Available to individuals interested in dental education and learning who do not hold an academic degree in a dental specialty or are not engaged in teaching in the field of dentistry.
- May attend events organized by the Society but do not have voting rights.
- May not run for election to the Board of Directors.
- May be invited to serve on the Society’s active subcommittees.
