Clinical Skills and Simulation Centre - Services

Programs

​​​​This unit works to improve the quality of healthcare training outcomes by providing and training standardized patients to support the Healthcare Colleges and all the units in Clinical Skills & Simulation Centre.​

The Clinical Skills and Simulation Center (CSSC) provides specialized consultation and support in the design and development of healthcare simulation scenarios. This includes reviewing scenarios to ensure their alignment with educational and training objectives and assessing their feasibility for implementation using available simulation modalities and environments.

Scenarios are reviewed and developed by the Center's simulation specialists and educators, in coordination with the Scientific Curriculum Review Committee, to support the quality of training content and the achievement of intended learning objectives.

The Assessment Unit at the Clinical Skills and Simulation Center (CSSC) supports the organization and delivery of Objective Structured Clinical Examinations (OSCEs) for students and healthcare professionals by providing an assessment environment that simulates clinical practice and supports the evaluation of clinical skills and competencies in accordance with defined assessment objectives.​


​The centre is responsible for planning, organizing, and coordinating the establishment and hosting of training activities, including workshops, courses, programs, conferences, seminars, and lectures in the field of healthcare for trainees and healthcare providers at various levels​.
