Sara Al-Sudairi Center hosting a delegation from the UAE General Women's Union

On Thursday, April 17, 2025, the Sara Al-Sudairi Center for Women's Studies at Princess Nourah bint Abdulrahman University hosted a delegation from the General Women's Union in the United Arab Emirates, in an aim of enhancing joint cooperation between the two parties, exchanging experiences in the fields of women's empowerment, and developing supportive policies.
The visit included meetings that included the Sara Al-Sudairi Center for Women's Studies, the Women's Leadership Center, the National Women's Observatory, in addition to the Family Affairs Council, where the visiting delegation discussed with representatives of these agencies the most prominent areas of common interest, opportunities for cooperation in studies, research, and initiatives that support women's empowerment and enhance their role in a way that contributes to achieving sustainable development goals.
During the visit, there was an introductory tour of the university's facilities to inform the delegation about academic programs, research projects, and initiatives aimed at supporting women and developing their leadership and knowledge skills.
At the end of the visit, the two sides stressed the importance of integration between Gulf institutions concerned with women's affairs, and the need for joint work to exchange experiences and develop policies to contribute to achieving comprehensive empowerment of women in various fields.
