This course deals with the study of microbiology, its origin and development, the study of methods of examination and detection, the general characteristics of microbial and eukaryotic microorganisms and their physiological activities, and knowledge of different microbial groups (viruses, bacteria, fungi and algae).

The course aims at introducing the student to the parts of the vegetative form of the plant, and its anatomical structure, the identification of plant tissues, normal secondary growth and the anomalous secondary growth (root and stem) suitable for the environment.
