Dr. Safiya Mukhtar Alshibani holds a Ph.D. in Entrepreneurship from the University of Western Australia. Her research focuses on sustainable entrepreneurship, entrepreneurs’ well-being, responsible artificial intelligence, and women’s entrepreneurship. She has an excellent publication record, with articles published in high-impact international journals (Q1 and Q2) indexed in Scopus and the Web of Science. Dr. Alshibani has participated in several research projects funded by the Saudi Ministry of Education and the National Center for Social Studies. She also represents Saudi Arabia in the Global University Entrepreneurial Spirit Students’ Survey (GUESSS) project, which measures entrepreneurial intentions among university students worldwide. In addition to her research contributions, Dr. Alshibani has received several international awards, including the Best Paper Award in Entrepreneurship Education (2025) from Prince Mohammed Bin Salman College of Business and Entrepreneurship (MBSC) and the Distinguished Leadership in Education Award (2024). She is also an active member of several international academic associations, including the European Academy of Management (EURAM) and the European Council for Small Business and Entrepreneurship (ECSB).
