Shabbab Alhammadi is a professor of civil engineering and former - vice-president for facilities and operation at Princess Nourah bint Abdulrahman University. He received his Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees from the Department of Civil Engineering, King Saud University, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. He also received his Ph.D. from Loughborough University, United Kingdom. His research interests include construction and facilities management. He obtained a patent from the Saudi Patent Office. He has published several papers in peer-reviewed journals and participated in different academic conferences. He obtained several awards and certificates during his scientific and practical career. He held various administrative and academic positions in various government agencies. He has contributed to creating the digital transformation in the vice rectorate for facilities and operation and the automation of operating systems that lead to achieving spending and operating efficiency in line with the objectives of the Kingdom’s Vision 2030.
