I’m Dr. Najwa Abdur Rashid, an Assistant Professor of Physiology at Princess Nourah bint Abdulrahman University (PNU) in Riyadh, with over 15 years of academic experience. Throughout my career, I’ve taught both undergraduate and graduate students, with a strong focus on advancing medical education. I earned my Ph.D. in Reproductive Physiology from the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi, where I was involved in several government and international research projects. I later completed a postdoctoral fellowship at Nanyang Technological University, Singapore, where my research focused on muscle stem cells in various mouse models. At PNU, I actively serve on multiple committees, contributing to curriculum development and quality assessment initiatives. I’ve also supervised numerous master’s and doctoral theses, reflecting my dedication to student mentorship and research training. My areas of expertise include stem cell research, molecular biology, cell culture, histology, and advanced imaging techniques. I’ve published my work in respected scientific journals and have been honored with several academic awards, recognizing my contributions to the field of physiology.
