This course aims to train students to translate texts in the domains of Islam and economy from Arabic into English and vice versa. It also teaches them the principles and strategies related to the translation of such texts. Throughout this process, students will learn about the problems related to the translation of such texts, their stylistic features and the dictionaries used in these domains.
Specialized Translation (Literary and Cultural) TRAN 213 is taught in level 3 of the second year of study in the English language program of the Department of Translation. It teaches students to translate texts from Arabic into English and vice versa in the various domains of literature and culture, in addition to the principles and strategies related to the translation of such texts. Throughout this process, students will learn about the translation problems related to the translation of such texts, their stylistic features, and the dictionaries used in these domains.
