This course covers several basic topics as units, measurements, linear motion and Newton's
laws of motion and their applications - General law of the gravity- Work and Energy - Linear
Momentum and Collisions - Elastic properties of the solids - Properties of the fluids, Pascal
and Archimedes principle – Fluid dynamics - Oscillatory motion, Simple harmonic motion,
Wave motion and kind of waves - Properties of the sound waves, Doppler phenomenon and
Interference waves. Heat, Temperature, thermometers and heat transfer mechanisms –
mirrors, lenses, and general law of mirrors and lenses- Electric Fields Properties, Nuclear Structure, Students study basic laws in each subject and their applications. Labs involve quantitative physics experiments in recognition of the theoretical concepts.
Tutorial sessions in solving physics problems are assigned to lab teachers during 5-6 weeks per semester.
