Specialized Translation (Media and Political) TRAN 212 is taught in level 3/2nd year in the English language program, Department of English. It sheds light on translating texts in the fields of media and politics. In addition, it teaches students the strategies related to the translation of such texts. Throughout this process, they will learn about the problems encountered when translating such texts, their stylistic and linguistic features and dictionaries used in these fields.
This course aims to train students to translate various sports texts from Arabic into English, and vice versa, besides teaching them the principles and strategies related to translating such texts.
