This course includes introduction and principles of microscopes types. Samples preparation methods as fixation types, dehydration, clearing, embedding, sectioning and mounting are illustrated. In addition, to identifying the staining processes with different types of stains, synthetic and histochemical stains for detecting chemical compounds in tissues. Recognize and apply different methods of preparation as whole mounts, squashes and smears in animal and plant samples.
