Princess Nourah bint
Abdulrahman University was recognized as one of the most developed universities
in the Arab region, winning the "Recognition Award: Most Improved – Arab
Region" in the QS World University Rankings 2025.
The
rankings edition included 1,503 international universities, with 20 Saudi
universities participating. Princess Nourah University also achieved a ranking
among the top 700 global universities.
The
rankings aimed to measure the quality of education by evaluating five
fundamental indicators: research and innovation, employment, teaching
experience, global connectivity, and sustainability.
Princess
Nourah University's progress in the QS World Classification 2025 and its
recognition as the best-developed university in the Arab region over the past
five years reflect the university's commitment to achieving the goals of the
Kingdom's Vision 2030.
It also
demonstrates the strength of the university's academic, cognitive, and creative
outputs as a competitive advantage in a knowledge-based economy.
The
university's progress in the rankings is attributed to its significant
development in scientific research, achieved through creating a conducive
educational and research environment, funding research, motivating members to
pursue high-quality research, and focusing on research strategies aligned with
national priorities.
These
efforts have contributed to advancing its position in the international
rankings and attracting the attention of international students and academics.
Over the
past five years, the university has worked on various projects, programs, and
quality achievements to provide a distinctive and sustainable educational
environment. Pursuing the fourth goal of sustainable development, which is
"Ensure inclusive and equitable quality education and promote lifelong
learning opportunities for all," the university created 44 bachelor's
programs, 14 master's programs, and several initiatives, projects, and local
and international partnerships to support academic performance, advocate for
women's causes, and enhance sustainability.
