The Biology Club in College of Science at Princess Nourah bint Abdulrahman University has recently organized a symposium (Chinese Culture and Fundamentals of Language Learning) and an accompanying exhibition at the Health Colleges Research Center, which also represents an important step towards opening new educational horizons for students of different educational levels in the Kingdom. As well as creating a future generation of economists and industrialists, and making the most out of the advanced science that characterizes China. This symposium is to enhance the inclusion of the Chinese language in the Saudi curricula, which in turn will contribute to the cultural persity of students in the Kingdom, in addition to achieving future national goals in the field of education at the level of "the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's Vision 2030".
The symposium was presented by Eng. Ibrahim Al-Zaaqi, who holds a certificate of passing the Chinese language-learning program for foreign students, and a certificate of passing to the higher levels in the Chinese language. In addition, he has many voluntary contributions inside and outside the Kingdom and he is a specialist in mechanical engineering from Peking University.
Al-Zaaqi started his talk about Chinese culture and its details, and then touched on trade and tourism in China and the principles and basics of learning the Chinese language. Eng. Abdul Rahman Suleiman Abu Zahra, author of Modern Chinese book, first level, with a master's degree in communication engineering, and holding a Chinese language diploma for a year and a half in Beijing also participated in the symposium.
The symposium also included an accompanying exhibition highlighting a number of aspects of Chinese culture and the importance of including this language in the Saudi school curriculum. It also included a booth on the Kingdom's Vision 2030 and the Chinese language, a corner for Chinese tea, photography, Chinese folk games, and Chinese writing.
