Princess Nourah bint Abdulrahman University, represented by the Pharmacy Club of College of Pharmacy, held a "More than a Pharmacist" event in its sixth edition, at the University Research Center.
The event targets pharmacists who have excelled in their profession, and innovated in other areas, and contributed to the service of society from senior pharmacists to first level students, with the aim of highlighting many pharmacists with different talents, by linking other different fields with pharmacy such as business management and other disciplines or other talents outside the pharmaceutical field such as plastic drawing, photography, fashion design, sports talents or voluntary work. In addition to stimulating attendance and recharge their energies with positive models of the reality of the profession. Thus, the event adopts the thought of the college to provide a stimulating and inspiring environment for its students.
The event was inaugurated by the Dean of the College of Pharmacy, Dr. Naglaa Al-Tuwaijri, who stressed the need to continue this event that stimulates the development of talents, which is led by the activities of students among the members of the Pharmacy Club. The launch of the event in its sixth edition this year is a reflection of the Club's commitment to highlighting the creative aspects of the staff and students of pharmacy profession.
The Dean's word was followed by the speakers' presentation of their different experiences and talents; the event was accompanied by an exhibition that included several different corners. At the end of the event, speakers, participants and sponsors were honoured.
It is noteworthy that College of Pharmacy seeks to provide a stimulating and effective environment for its students through conducting events that develop the skills of students.
