On 15th Safar 1441 AH, the Vice-Rectorate of the university for Educational Affairs, and under auspices of Prof. Einas bint Suleiman Al-Eisa, Rector of Princess Nourah bint Abdulrahman University, has inaugurated “the development of follow-up and evaluation of clinical training system project (CT-MAP)" in the auditorium of Center for Simulation and Clinical Skills Development at the University.
In this regard, the Vice-Rector for Educational Affairs, Dr. Nawal Al Rasheed, explained that the vice-rectorate of the University for Educational Affairs has launched the first phase of the CT-MAP program, which aims at controlling quality of training, providing a chance for colleges as well as training centers to follow up performance of the trainees that contributes to rendering highly qualified and skillful working staff to join labor market.
Dr. Kholoud Alali, Assistant Vice-Rector for Educational Affairs for health colleges, also pointed out that the e-program is one of the projects included in the initiative to control quality of training performance of students in health colleges. As it is considered one of the pioneering solutions to automate clinical training monitoring and evaluation systems across the GCC States, which was designed to be in line with the University's strategic objectives stemming from the Kingdom's Vision 2030.
Dr. Kholoud Alali added that this program is a qualitative leap as it directly and simultaneously links health colleges with training centers, which allows direct and live communication and gives the opportunity for the concerned parties to conduct evaluation and assessment, which is in the interest of raising quality of outputs and reducing wastage.
