Princess Nourah bint Abdulrahman University is hosting today, Wednesday, December 10, 2025, the finals of the Saudi Universities Sports Federation Futsal Championship for the sixteenth sports season, under the patronage of His Excellency the Minister of Education, Mr. Yousef bin Abdullah Al-Benyan. The championship, which will continue until December 13, 2025, targets female students from various Saudi universities and welcomes the attendance of university affiliates, representatives of participating universities, and those interested in university sports. The event also features a number of accompanying activities, including Pilates sessions, a table tennis exchange meet, as well as sports activities held in collaboration with several Saudi federations, such as Boccia, Boxing, Netball, and Jiu-Jitsu. The championship aims to enhance female students’ presence in university sports, support women’s empowerment in athletics, and develop collaboration, teamwork, and discipline skills among students. It also seeks to elevate the level of university athletic competition, promote a positive image of the university as a driving force for women’s sports, discover new student talents in futsal, and strengthen cooperation among Saudi universities in the field of sports. The Saudi Universities Sports Federation Futsal Championship is an annual event organized under the supervision of the Saudi Universities Sports Federation, with the participation of female students from Saudi universities. Princess Nourah bint Abdulrahman University oversees hosting and organizing the finals on campus, providing all necessary technical and organizational facilities. Hosting the finals aligns with the role of the Sports Affairs Administration in contributing to the goals of Princess Nourah bint Abdulrahman University’s Strategic Plan 2025, empowering women in the sports field, and enhancing the quality of the academic environment through sports activities, supporting the achievement of Saudi Vision 2030 objectives in the areas of sports and health.
