Princess Nourah bint Abdulrahman University and the King Abdulaziz Foundation for Research and Archives (Darah) signed a cooperation agreement on Monday, November 17, 2025, at the university headquarters, to enhance partnership and exchange expertise in scientific, cultural, and research fields, particularly those related to the history of Saudi women. The Acting President of the University, Dr. Fawzia bint Suleiman Al-Amro, represented Princess Nourah University, while Darah was represented by its Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Turki bin Mohammed Al-Shuweir. The agreement encompasses several key areas, including documenting the history of Saudi women; cooperation in archives, manuscripts, photographs, and films; producing joint documentary and scientific films; developing academic programs in the humanities and social sciences; and enabling female students from the Departments of History and Geography, Environmental Sustainability, Arabic Language, and Libraries to participate in cooperative training. It also includes exchanging scientific and technical expertise to implement joint programs. The agreement supports the shared goals of both institutions in fostering collaborative work, exchanging expertise, supporting initiatives that build national capacities, and enabling students to engage in practical training. It also reflects the university’s commitment to strengthening strategic partnerships and promoting women’s leadership in national development.
