Princess Nourah University’s College of Computer and Information Sciences, represented by the Artificial Intelligence Center, in collaboration with the Arab Intelligence Center at the King Salman Global Academy for Arabic Language, has launched the “Arabic Intelligence Series” for students, researchers, and interested individuals. The series will run until 30 December 2025. The initiative aims to highlight the latest AI applications in the Arabic language and Natural Language Processing (NLP), while equipping the community with ethical and trustworthy AI skills. The series combines scientific foundations with practical applications, opening opportunities for linguistic innovation and product development while emphasizing ethical considerations such as bias, reliability, and privacy. The series includes several topics, such as: “Large Language Models (LLMs) and the Future of Arabic Content,” “Trustworthy AI: Building Ethical and Responsible Systems,” “From Blackboard to Chatbots: The Evolution from Traditional Classrooms to AI-Enhanced Learning,” and “Intelligence and Play in the Language of Dhad.” Dr. Shorouq Al-Sanan, Director of the AI Center, explained that the series seeks to empower students, researchers, and content creators to develop innovative linguistic solutions that support digital transformation and expand community impact. She added that the center aims to strengthen national capabilities in Arabic language technologies and bridge the gap between research and application while promoting trustworthy and ethical AI. The “Arabic Intelligence Series” supports the college’s efforts to help achieve Princess Nourah University’s Strategic Plan 2025 by building a knowledgeable AI-linguistic community, supporting research and innovation, and preparing competitive national talents in AI and innovation.
