The College of Computer and Information Sciences, represented by the Artificial Intelligence Center at Princess Nourah University, has launched the “AI Hub Community” to promote a culture of innovation, technical entrepreneurship, and AI awareness among students and participants from various colleges. The initiative aims to empower students by developing their technical and research skills through knowledge exchange, communication with faculty and specialists, hands-on activities, and preparing qualified national talents capable of competing locally and globally. The initiative includes three main tracks: Technical Entrepreneurship Track: preparing students to transform ideas into scalable entrepreneurial projects, Digital Content Track: raising national awareness by producing knowledge and technology based content, and Executive Track: organizing technical meetups and fostering innovation in AI fields. Participants gain practical and leadership experiences through specialized training workshops, such as “Generative AI,” “Data Analysis,” and “Cybersecurity,” in addition to major technical activities like the “Zakaathon” Hackathon and “Datathon.” Dr. Shorouq Al-Sanan, Director of the AI Center, noted that the AI Hub represents a sustainable platform that enables students with advanced digital skills, creating tangible community impact aligned with the university’s strategic focus on “AI and Future Technologies.” The "AI HUB" initiative comes as part of the efforts of the Artificial Intelligence Center at the College of Computer and Information Sciences, in line with the objectives of Princess Nourah bint Abdulrahman University's 2025 strategic plan. This is achieved by strengthening the research, innovation, and entrepreneurship ecosystem, supporting digital transformation, and empowering national talent in the fields of artificial intelligence and innovation.
