The College of Engineering and Saudi Railway Company Sign an MoU to Exchange Practical and Scientific Knowledge

The College of Engineering at Princess Nourah bint Abdulrahman University and Saudi Railway Company (SAR) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on Thursday, October 9, 2025, to enhance cooperation and joint development in project and initiative fields, as well as academic and research collaboration and the exchange of practical and scientific knowledge. The MoU aims to strengthen the integration of efforts and services provided by both parties, support and qualify Saudi female engineers with knowledge and skills, contribute to building a knowledge-based economy through industrial and engineering partnerships, support student talents in research and innovation, enrich research projects, and train and empower female students to meet the challenges of the engineering sector. Areas of cooperation include student training programs, development and scientific research, joint workshops, and supporting and enabling scientific research and participation in local and international conferences. Princess Nourah University’s College of Engineering was represented by the Dean, Dr. Hanan bin Munqash, while SAR was represented by the General Manager of Human Resources and Business Support, Mr. Abdulrahman Turkistani. The signing of the MoU reflects the shared goals of both parties in promoting a knowledge economy and preparing distinguished female talent in the engineering sector. It also aligns with the College of Engineering’s commitment to strengthening strategic partnerships and achieving excellence through an academic system that meets labor market needs.
