The Sports Affairs Administration at Princess Nourah University launched on Sunday, September 28, 2025, the sixth season of the University Colleges League, with the participation of approximately 900 students from various colleges. The competitions are held at the university’s Women’s Sports Club. The league, which runs until October 9, 2025, aims to promote physical activity, create a competitive sports environment, discover and develop athletic talent, and encourage a healthy lifestyle that supports both physical and mental well-being. It also prepares students for external competitions, enabling athletes to represent the university in local and international sports tournaments. The sixth season includes 19 sports, divided into individual sports, such as badminton, billiards, e-sports, sudoku, chess, judo, taekwondo, jiu-jitsu, athletics, table tennis, padel, squash, archery, and karate—and team sports, including futsal, basketball, volleyball, handball, and softball. The Colleges League is an annual competition for discovering and nurturing talent to support and empower women and prepare them for athletic participation across the university’s colleges and institutes. It aims to enhance health and fitness, develop skills, and build an aware, athletic generation. The sixth season aligns with the university’s Strategic Plan 2025 by contributing to excellence in sports, enhancing extracurricular activities, and providing a health- and fitness-promoting environment that prepares the university to compete locally and internationally.
