Princess Nourah bint Abdulrahman University’s College of Education and Human Development announced today, Monday, 15 September 2025, the opening of registration for the “Nourah Childhood Award,” in recognition of outstanding national efforts in promoting children’s quality of life and psychological well-being and highlighting the latest developments in child protection. The award aligns with sustainable development standards and supports the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030. The award seeks to attract and honor the best community and educational initiatives that effectively integrate emerging technologies and sustainable development concepts into the design and planning of educational content, with the aim of enhancing children’s cognitive, perceptual, and skill development. It strives to achieve four strategic objectives: protecting children in the digital world., advancing sustainable development goals, ensuring optimal use of technology and artificial intelligence for holistic child development, and enhancing psychological well-being and comprehensive growth within competitive, engaging learning environments. Registration is available under two main tracks: Institutional Track (Institutional Initiatives): Open to all profit and non-profit entities to encourage excellence in institutional performance, and Individual Track (Individual Initiatives): Open to individuals of both genders across the Kingdom to promote positive competition in academic, educational, and professional excellence. The registration announcement coincides with the College’s upcoming organization of the “Childhood Thrives in 2030” Conference, in collaboration with the Early Childhood Agency at the Ministry of Education, set to take place next October as a platform to explore the future of early childhood and highlight national initiatives shaping the next generation.
