Princess Nourah bint Abdulrahman University and the Prince Sultan Center for Defense Studies and Research signed a cooperation agreement on Thursday, 21 August 2025, with the aim of developing and transforming research outputs into prototype products and eventually into local industrial solutions, as well as investing in and supporting innovation within their joint projects. The agreement was signed at PNU’s headquarters by Acting University President Dr. Fawzia Al-Amro and Deputy Director-General of the Center Dr. Faiz bin Abdullah Al-Hurqan. The cooperation includes academic and research collaboration, cooperative training, leveraging faculty expertise in research, technology, and knowledge, conducting joint research projects, organizing training programs, exchanging research publications, participating in scientific conferences, seminars, and workshops, and sharing access to research facilities and laboratories. The agreement supports the mutual objectives of both parties to strengthen the knowledge-based economy and enhance communication and collaboration in ways that contribute to developing human capital. It also aligns with Princess Nourah University’s efforts to strengthen strategic partnerships, promote the role of research and innovation in serving society, and support national development pathways.
