During July, the Innovation and Entrepreneurship Center at Princess Nourah bint Abdulrahman University concluded a series of specialized training activities, with the participation of approximately (60) beneficiaries from inside and outside the University. The activities aimed to empower participants in the fields of technology and design thinking, introduce future skills, and enhance integration between academic education and labor market competencies. The activities were held at the Code Lab on campus. The training series included a workshop titled “Fundamentals of Entrepreneurship,” which focused on building both theoretical and practical understanding of entrepreneurship concepts, and developing prototype projects that meet labor market needs, including market analysis tools and business model development. The workshop “Fundamentals of 3D Design Using Shapr3D” focused on equipping participants with practical skills in digital modeling, introducing the software’s tools, and applying them through hands-on practice to create initial designs that enhance creativity and innovation using modern technologies. The Center also hosted a panel discussion titled “From Logo to Story: How Do You Build a Brand?” which addressed several key themes that raised participants’ awareness of the importance of identity and branding in the success of entrepreneurial projects, while encouraging strategic thinking. The session provided participants with the opportunity to work on prototype visual identities for their current and future startups, strengthening their market presence and competitiveness. These activities are part of the Innovation and Entrepreneurship Center’s efforts to achieve the objectives of Princess Nourah bint Abdulrahman University’s 2025 Strategic Plan, which aims to empower students with future skills, integrate academic outcomes with labor market needs, promote a culture of innovation and entrepreneurship, enrich knowledge and skills, and produce competitive outputs that contribute to building the society of the future.
