The Student and Career Support Center at Princess Nourah bint Abdulrahman University launched, under the “Tumoohna” initiative for professional certifications, a package of professional certification programs for female students and alumnae. The initiative aims to support students and graduates in their career paths by enabling them to obtain internationally accredited professional certifications that enhance labor market readiness and provide a sustainable competitive advantage. The programs cover various fields, including information technology, design, production, marketing, sales, customer service, project management, executive management, occupational safety and health management, in addition to specializations such as English language, tourism and hospitality, accounting and budgeting, human resources, and specialized translation. The programs are delivered by a select group of internationally accredited trainers with extensive professional and academic experience in certification fields. They are offered through interactive formats, either remotely or in person, and include live lectures, training materials and references, mock exams, and continuous technical and academic support. The programs are distinguished by high-quality accredited training, an easy and direct registration mechanism, alignment with local labor market needs, the development of an electronic system to track participants’ performance and document certification results, and full support until obtaining the professional certification. It is worth noting that the “Tumoohna” initiative is one of the initiatives launched by the Deanship of Student Affairs, represented by the Student and Career Support Center, in November 2024, to provide high-quality international-standard training in professional certification fields for female students and alumnae of Princess Nourah University.
