The Student and Career Support Center at Princess Nourah bint Abdulrahman University launched the third edition of the “Masar” Summer Program on Sunday, 22 June 2025, aimed at preparing students and graduates for the labor market through cooperation with entities across the public, private, and non-profit sectors. The program, which runs until 21 August 2025, seeks to empower students and graduates by applying academic knowledge in real work environments, acquiring professional and technical skills, developing communication, teamwork, and planning skills, enhancing personal skills, and understanding labor market requirements. The Masar Summer Program includes a variety of activities, such as training workshops, career guidance sessions, mock job interviews, field visits, and summer training opportunities. These activities enable participants to explore work environments across governmental, private, and non-profit sectors, providing students and graduates with realistic practical experiences that enhance their personal and professional skills, broaden perspectives, and develop fundamental awareness of labor market needs. This initiative comes as part of the efforts of the Student and Career Support Center to contribute to achieving the objectives of Princess Nourah bint Abdulrahman University’s 2025 Strategic Plan, which aims to empower students and graduates with professional and personal skills, enhance their readiness for the labor market, increase their competitiveness, and contribute to building qualified cadres aligned with sustainable national development requirements.
