The Deanship of Development and Quality at Princess Nourah bint Abdulrahman University concluded the training program “Development of Second-Tier Academic Leadership,” which lasted 18 weeks, with the attendance of Vice Deans for Academic and Student Affairs and program directors from the University’s colleges. The program was delivered by a group of trained female faculty members and aimed to develop and qualify second-tier academic leaders, enhance their competencies and knowledge, foster a collaborative environment within academic departments, and facilitate experience exchange and knowledge transfer among participants. The program included a series of training courses and interactive workshops, such as Microsoft Planner for project management and task assignment, Stress Management strategies and their relationship to time management, Measuring Projects and Return on Investment, Job Responsibilities and Work Mechanisms in the Vice Presidency for Academic Affairs, and Introduction to the National Institutional Excellence Model. Program outcomes contributed to empowering participants to address daily administrative challenges, strengthen leadership skills, apply them in practical tasks, and establish collaborative professional networks that support academic leadership. This program aligns with the Deanship of Development and Quality’s efforts to achieve Princess Nourah University’s 2025 Strategic Plan by developing academic leadership, supporting continuous education and development, and achieving institutional excellence and academic performance quality.
